I have some rather nice black and silver BMW panniers to match my beautiful black 650GS. However my top box is white and sticks out like whore at a vicars tea party. Now cash isn't growing on any trees nearby so could you please tell me the best way or proper way to paint the box to match everything else. ie prep work paint to use etc.....
Cheers

If it's white, it's probably not a BMW item  , so some more information would be helpful.

Judging by the Black hinges, it has been painted White  Lord only knows why!

I would start with some Paint Stripper, & if that doesn't work, keep an eye on Ebay for a replacement. ;)

Cheers all but problem solved my local garage/body shop is doing a pro spray job on it fo £20.
It's not what you know it's who you know

It's a shame your having it sprayed. It's obviously a rare item. I never knew BW made then in white till I saw on on a white 650GS with white panniers and box (posibly ex police?)

You should sell it and buy Colts black one.

BTW is it white inside too?

Mine is a BMW box and it's white.
And I've just been outside in the pouring rain to check the inside because I couldn't remember.
The inside is black and I'm a little wet.
There's dedication for you.

mm take it that the whit eones are just standard black ones painted on the outside??
i take it that the white ones are for govt depts police/parks?
