I'm now the proud owner of an 08 1200 GSA which needs a bit off attention to the paintwork on the frame members.
The black paintwork has worn through to bare metal in the lower sections, so before I apply some mechanical protection I wanted to make good the paintwork.
I've had some crap results in the past by mismatching paint types (and poor prep on my part) so could someone give me a basic step by step guide to paint selection (primers, colour & lacquer), plus the best way to prepare the metalwork.
