Has anybody touched up their scratches with the touch up pen?
How would this work and what results do you get.
Just got a pretty noticible scratch and was hoping I could get rid of it, more or less.

Worked a treat on a NTV I had, spent a bit of time blending it in.
Have a touch up pen on order, Alpine White. for the beak on the 1100.
Will be using it Tuesday hopefully.:mmmm

Why not go to the MERCHANDISE tab at the top of the page and get the best thing to get rid of the scratch a UKGSer.com Sticker..

Then they wont see the scratch:D :D

....and your local BMW dealer won't be able to help with paint for much longer. BMW have just informed dealers that they will no longer be supplying touch-ups or paint through the parts system. That means that unless they have your colour in current UK stock it won't be coming at all. Try ordering now from your dealer if you want to, you might be lucky. In any case we find local body shops are good for supplying paint using their computerised matching systems. Good luck. :rob

I tried using one of those pen things from Halfords. Looked a proper kit but I couldnt get the paint to match. I think the names on some kits seem to be for cars and Im not sure that they correspond to the colours on the bikes. I did order a paint kit from BMW , a spray kit. It was much better and came with the laquer. Not much good for a stone chip or small scratch though

Pastyman, touch up sticks aren't easy to use, and you'll never really get an invisible mend, but our guys are pretty good at floating just enough in to look reasonable as long as the chip isn't too deep. If you're around here sometime call in and we'll see what we can do. What colour, by the way?

[/QUOTE Thanks for the offer but it was on my previous bike It was a K1200 RS in silver and blue. The bm information site said it was arctic silver but the guys at Ocean told me titan. I tried a titan pen from Halfords but it didnt seem to be anywhere near. The titan spray was spot on(from Ocean) I am sure its just me.
