Any advice greatly appreciated from the worldly wise or otherwise!

Got a pair of standard GS spoked wheels (usual ally silver colour) that I want to re-paint, anodise? or whatever is best to match same colour of my GS Adv blue wheels. This is a spare pair of wheels with knobbly tyres on?

Any thoughts to save me making a complete @rse of it & any toughts on where to send and what price to expect?

My thanks in advance!

Cheers,

Graeme

NEW POLKA DOT GSAdv!!

Thanks for the link Mike!!

Obviously no one else has thought of doing a polka dot coloured spoked wheels - at least it'll be a one-off!!

& I'll be in touch re the ear plugs when I'm getting the HONDAS serviced!

Cheers :D

As soon as I can lay my hands on a spare set of wheels, I'm going to strip them, polish the rims, machine the hubs and get them hard anodised, then re laced with s/s spokes. All I've got to do, is find a set of spares really cheap. Keep me posted on how you get on:beerjug:

Vern's NEW Wheels!??

Vern,

I thought you could machine a quick set of wheels & tyres, as you seem to be able to rattle out most things in your garage!

I'm waiting for the ALL NEW 1700GSVernAdv Model, made by you in your garage with your famous panniers which will be able to accomodate a spare motorbike in each?!

Put me down on the list first for the ALL NEW VERN 1700GS Adv!! please!

In the meantime I'll let you know how it goes with my old fashioned BMW manufactured wheels!

Cheers :D :D
