Pair of 'Supermoto' F800GS wheels

I have, pehaps somewhat foolishly, sold my 800GS and in the process of buying a 1200 (again) I am shortly going to be taking delivery of a rebuilt (17") F800GS front wheel ( matching black rim/stainless spokes/ new bearings) to go with the rear wheel I already have. These came from a 3,700 miles written off (front end) 800 I bought and then came up with the grand idea of having a spare set of wheels, ready with 17" sticky tyres. Good idea, but no longer have the bike.
So, testing the water here, anyone interested in these, haven`t a clue about price ( cost me nearly £300 for the rebuilt front) Will advertise them when the front gets here and I`ve had a chance to take some pictures. john

I'd be willing to buy some F800GS wheels for a reasonable price.

Dont know, but have to visit my local dealer today to collect a throttle cable, so will ask.... Just a thought, I`m 6', but I guess a 17" front wheel might make things a bit easier for those with less than long legs

Well a new set of wheels is £877.82 inc VAT, but not including cush drive hub unit, sprocket carrier, brake discs, ABS rings etc, which I would be including, with exception of one of the front discs (which was warped).

Your first in line AB, if you PM me your email address I will forward a picture of the 17" front that Paul from SFXWHEELS sent me today, almost wish I`d kept the bike now, it looks good and would like to have tried it out.

In reply to the earlier posting the standard rim size for the rear is
17" not 19"
The aim is to have 17" front and rear with sticky tyres
Two sets of wheels... best of both worlds.....
