Pannier bags

Hello,

Not new here but have changed email address and can't seem to alter my account so just re-registered.
2023 R1250GSA is the bike I have a query about. Does anyone know if there are any bags that can be fitted into the standard BMW pannier lids like the Bumot panniers do? This area is handy for paperwork and documents etc and never gets used that much.

I'd decided cargo-net pockets in the lids of my GSA panniers are a definite must-have, the panniers are a good size and a few items are better stored in the lid than getting lost lower down. Initially I'd looked at the Touratech pannier nets but at over £63 for the pair it's silly money. Also...

It comes with all the fittings etc and works really well.
In the other pannier I bought an insert with two zipped pockets for paperwork but to be honest it’s a bit tight to fit anything in.

I’ve done some research on sizes and dimensions and I think I can make the Bumot internal lid bag work on the BMW pannier so I’ve ordered one and will try it out. The idea is to have one pannier for secure paperwork/sunglasses etc and the other with a cargo net.

I have one of these in my GSA Top Box Lid & it works a treat. I use it pretty much all the time for something or other - highly recommended.
