Having gone aluminium two years ago with Metal Mule (excellent kit) I have despaired about pannier bags...not wanting to go down the Tesco freezer bag road...

So...I contacted 'Bags 2 Cover': www.bags2cover.co.uk specifically, Dave Bond. I sent in the inner measurements of the panniers and back the bags came after two weeks.

Made from cordura type fabric with top opening lid and apparently sturdy zips. Perfect fit. Just what I was after.

I have no connection with this company other than to say that the service and product are excellent. Well worth a plug.

If and when I work out how to put photos on the site I will send in pics...

How much did you pay?

Oh and are they expandable to suit the vario panniers?

Cheers

Andy

Yes - price was £24.99 each plus £9.99 postage for the three bags.

I don't know if they will do adjustable bags for the vario panniers - always worth an ask...

If they can't help, have a look here: http://www.maneevent.org.uk/bmw.htm

Not used the vario liners, but used them for the system and 1150 GSA panniers and they'd get a :thumb2 from me. Not waterproof, but then I guess the bags2cover aren't either.

I had mane-event inner bags with BMW system (plastic) panniers and they are well made (still use them as useful bags) but I have had real problems finding bags to fit non-standard panniers. Metal Mule have been investigating inner bags for some time and have talked with Kriega but as far as I know nothing is actually available yet.

The good thing about this company was the fact that they were made to measure at a reasonable price and swift service.
