Going to get some designs made up at the weekend for the gs adventure pannier top box. Sick of cleaning it so going to get some full decals to cover the top rear of the top box and possibly the sides.

Going to get some clear vinyl cut to fit the top.
Also going to get some Union Jack/Scottish flag/Welsh flag etc done for the rear of the top box.
Do you think anybody would be interested in these if I was to sell them on fleabay?
Comments welcome :blagblah

They will sell great if the potential buyers see the free decals on my luggage :augie

Funny enough, the same thought had crossed my mind, let me know how you get on.

I wouldn't bother with the Scots or Welsh flags, they never use them:rolleyes:

Lou all i've been looking at is some clear or black vinyl, cut to shape to clag on. Be interested to see what you come up with, might save me some work ;)

In other news, you out this weekend? Sunday is looking fine:bounce1

I've got a set of Caja's covered top to bottom in black vinyl and it works quite well but it's far from perfect. I used to work as a sign maker so I'm quite experienced in cladding things in vinyl, but to do a full pannier well is tough.

If you are giving it a go get some vinyl from a sign maker, apply it and then trim it down. Don’t try and cut it to size before it goes on, and heating everything with a hair dryer makes it easier to work with.

On my second GSA - the new panniers came straight out of their packaging and I sat for a couple of hours cutting templates and then covering them in a clear vinyl..... similar to the stuff they use to protect cars from stone chips.

Well worth the effort and you'd not know they were covered. Perfect to adhere my stickers on.... and if I ever get rid of them - the vinyl is merely removed.

Got a friend who does graphics for a living, so he's going to cut, design them for me.
He has various thicknesses on the clear stuff (some like motor cross graphics thickness) and a full colour printer and obviously many colours.
I'll keep you updated in the near future.

Panniers at the sticker shop, but he's had them two weeks and not touched them yet:augie Might go away to wales or Scotland for the weekend so might ask for them back:nenau
