Does anyone know if a conventional pannier frame which will fit a 2007 xCountry with ally sub-frame (strengthened). I've found a Hepco and Becker frame which can be ordered but only for the later steel frame model. TT do a complete set with panniers(and maybe a steel frame) but I don't have a grand spare. I'm aware of the discussion about whether the ally sub-frame is strong enough but would like to consider a proper pannier frame even to mount soft luggage.

Am I missing something or is there really no frames available for the 2007 model?

I currently have Dirtbags fitted on their frame but wondered if I could get a more substantial frame.

Of course if anyone has one lying in the garage I'd be interested.

Try Motobins and their website

They are the HB importers

I have a set of HB pannier frames, which I have used on my 2007 XChallenge & now use on my 2007 alloy subframed XCountry:D

Main difference is the welded on pillion footpegs, between the 09 and 07 bikes

Thanks JB. I spoke to Motobins and they say they can still order one for a 2007, although it is not shown on the HB site. Thanks for the tip. I now need to decide if I should go this way and give up on the Dirtbagz... Decisions Decisions!

Eric at hotrod welding makes a pannier frame as well, might be worth a look?
