No, No.
Much easier, remove locks in manner described.
Keep the key in and file tumblers until flush with the barrel, refit, done.

A dealer should take less than 5 minutes to re-do your locks. Note that this doesn't have to be a bike dealer - the key barrels are the same on BMW cars, apparently....
