Pannier mounting bolts

Hi there. Just 'inherited' a set of spanking BMW panniers and rails for my '52 plate 1150 GS. Problem is that Im lacking the 6 mounting bolts (2 X 3 actually)that hold the pannier rails to the bike. Anyone got any info if these are a stock item , ie, could I simply order some from Rainbow - or could I get some somewhere else. (Merry Christmas etc etc)

Easy option, go to the bike shop.
Or you could get your tape measure out, offer the rails up to the bike and see what sizes you need before going to a nuts n bolts shop

Did the rails come with the spacers that you need for the rear mounting points ?

Well, they're sort of spacery - made from same material as the rails. They fit into the rear mounting holes,to space the pannier frames away from the frame. Properly made things, not just washers .

Yep,they are a stock item and should only take a few days - just got six myself and they only take a few minutes to fit. The back news is they will set you back about £8 quid
