Panniers for a G/S ?

I’ve got a set of original (Krauser I think) in the loft for the g/s

The made the Krausers from my 75/7 fit reasonably easily, and they might be easier to find than the G/S items.
My frames broke at the junction just along from the pillion footrest, so if you intend full load / extended off road you might want a gusset plate at the rear of the junction.
And off course a ratchet strap round them to keep the front closed and take a little off the load on whatever latches you have fixing the boxes too the frames.

I wont be touring with them - they're just for local 'utility' purposes, like stowing my jacket/helmet if I go to the hospital as I hate having to use the car. There are several on ebay at the mo, but I'm really not sure what the back needs to look like to fit the frame.

You just need a protruding block on the back f the box which will fit into the pannier frame .
All the boxes I have seen have a lip on the bottom of the block which fits over the bottom rail of the frame,
Then you have have to work out how you are going to hold the top f the box into the frame.
I used a couple of 4" slip bolts which were fixed inside the box and protruded out through the top of the fixing block and behind the top rail on the frame.
And a long strap round the lot for security and to stop it rattling, but an occy would do the same.

The panniers with the cut out that matches the pannier frame and uses a folding clasp at the rear of the pannier that holds onto the rail.
