Has anyone got a good set of panniers fitted to their bike, for which the brackets look okay when the panniers are not in place ?

I quite like the look of the Caja Sahel panniers. Any experience and possibly photo of bike with just brackets fitted ?
Any other recomendations welcome (waits with baited breath  )

Cheers, Piggers

I stuck a set of Civil's Caja Shaels on a GSA and wrote a review (see http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showpost.php?p=493212&postcount=112) which has a shot of the back of the left side without the pannier on. They look okay, but nothing will look great.

They don't remove easily but that's fine as I run with them on all the time for ease of shopping and carrying crap. They don't add much in width, you just have to remember they are there when you are cutting in and out of traffic...

I think Jessie frames are some of the least conspicuous, and the boxes just clip on.

Colin.

Piggers..there's a long review of lots of panniers in the Fount of all knowledge section, along with a load of photos as well :thumb

Thanks Fanum

I have seen it but not much mention of the mounting brackets.

I guess if they look okay they may as well stay put.

With the Alpos ones you can take the frame and panniers off together really quickly (10 seconds, quick). There is virtually nothing left to see on the bike.
