PANNIERS FOR THE HARLEY

ALUMINIUM PANNIERS FOR THE HARLEY

As I said in our original post these panniers were made as a result of a request from a Harley customer. Personally I think that the Stahlkoffer Sport Panniers would have maybe suited the bike better but as they say "the customer is always right".
I suspect he went for that particular size because of the amount of luggage he wants to carry. Having spoken to him after receipt of said panniers he is more than happy so a win - win situation I would say.

Two problems I can see:
1, Well beauty is in the eye of the beholder, to me it looks shite
2, You should have made them from 'cast iron' to match the rest of the bike :thumb

Well I followed your link to the site again to see what you mean and I can't work out which pannier is which

Maybe I'm a bit dumb but I spent a few minutes clicking on links and pictures but nothing seems to clearly lay out the differences between the panniers to me. :nenau

I've probably missed something obvious :blast

Sorry Mutley you are quite right.
I sent some pictures of the Stahlkoffer Sport to our webdesigner but for some reason they have not yet appeared on our website. I will chase it up.

I think the point is.........Bernt was asked to make panniers by a customer which he duly did. I suspect the customer is more interested in carrying his gear than worrying about what the rest of the HD crowd think. :augie

I've seen all sorts of stuff nailed onto bikes over the years which do a job. They don't look nice but hey, who gives a flying f*ck as long as they works?

I saw this guy in the States in 2005 and he had suitcases strapped to his 650 on his way to visit every country on the planet. Looked hilarious but did the job:thumb
I met that same guy inTenerife in Dec 2011 !!!!! he gets around
