Having just bought a gs I havent yet done any 2s up touring/ camping as I did on the Triumph. The left hand pannier is cut away for the exhaust. Lowering the Exhaust and buying a new pannier? good idea or not realLy worth it. any body done it ?

Motorworks will sell you the Wudo exhaust lowering kit for something around £200. You can then fit RS/RT panniers.

Correction. Motorworks have just come back to me with the actual Wudo price (they had miss-remembered the £200-ish price). They need the chassis number to select the correct kit.


It is £95 for the lowering kit.

RS/RT panniers are the same price as 1150GS at £285 and use the same rails.

Check to see if you can buy just the half of the Carcas of the leftside Pannier from the RS/RT that is different to the GS one, the original lid and Lock will transfer over
