panniers

Hi folks has anyone put panniers on their dr 350
I had a notion to leave the big bikes in the garage and do a bit of touring on me wee dr 350 want to take camping stuff
any ideas appreciated
ps i didnt want to spend too much on the experiment

soft luggage would do well for that.

I have used kreiga bags on a DRZ,also an ortilob drybag,worked well.I plan to do the same this year and reckon with a small tankbag also there will be plenty of storage.

do you have any pics of that set up doyle? Going over to Belgium and the Netherlands in july this and still considering what type of luggage to take

Truth of the matter is that there is a lot of good rural round where i live and it will cost a lot less £ to explore that
Instead of jumping on the big bikes and going hundreds of miles away

You can fit pretty much any soft luggage to a trail bike and it needn't cost much, just make sure you devise a way of keep it off the exhaust.

Personally, I'd just go with a roll bag on the back
