Panniers

Whilst we're on the subject, does anyone know with certainty if Metal Mule panniers will fit Touratech frames on a 650GS? I'm guessing they're all standard sizes seeing as they have to fit the same bike, but dunno for sure.

I have Metal Mule 38lt boxes on Metal Mule frames.

Also have a set of Fibreglass Despatch Panniers which I fit on the same frames, using a set of Touratech fittings.

TT will sell boxws & fittings separately, so you can custom fit them to any boxes, or to fit any frames.

Thanks! I ask because I have some TT frames available to me for a good price but prefer the MM boxes! Always the awkward one, that's me!

it's still a few months till i buy my panniers so i've still got a lot of time to change my mind, but i saw the new metal mule II panniers at the NEC and they looks really bloody good. i was able to compare them to the TT ones and the differances were shocking. while the MM were massively solid and looked like they wouldnt be out of place bolted to the side of a tank, the TT ones just reminded me of biscuit tins.

i also loved the MM QR system which i believe is new.
