Hi all
I'm sure someone will be able to help out with this one.

Has anyone fitted one of these and if so whats involved in the fitting itself and then the setting up.

Did you play about with the length on it (oer missus!!) and if so what were the outcomes of such fiddling?

Thanks in advance to one and all

Sherps;)

I have one, but only because nobody else had one and I wanted to get some attention.

Carry a spanner, and find a roundabout, wind it in and do a few laps, wind it in abit more and do a few more, then do it again.

When you have finally go to the fully wound in possition, go over to the chap sat on the bench under the tree and ask him if he know what the hell to do.

another thing to consider

is that you need to losse the rear most pivot bolt(final drive mount) so the paralever arm can align with out tension..

the standard method for this is to load the bike with about 100kilos that way the suspension will be compress like when you are riding,if you don't do this the rubber cushion mount in the final drive will be overloaded and more prone to fail in the long term, plus the paralever arm will be preloaded and maybe distord diminishing the quality of the ride..

Basically the shorter you make the arm the quicker it will turn into the corner and the longer you make it the slower it will turn in.
The ride height also changes, higher the shorter the arm.
Longer will be more stable but not as quick to change direction.

I’ve mine shorter

i hope in right in all that
:D

if not IT LOOKS COOL!!!

......to all.

Looks like I'll be doing some experimenting then - hope the guy on the bench has a mobile phone on him to dial 999 whilst I'm laid in a heap on the roundabout!!

pivot bolt

Hi ricardo

Do you mean loosen the rear mounting bolt of the paralever arm itself or something else?

Thanks
Sherps;)
