My daughter has received several notices regarding overstaying the allowed time in a Tesco car park, the latest headed LEGAL ACTION PENDING, weve ignored these notices up to now however it mentions a "landmark supreme court ruling of Parking Eye v Beavis, it has now been established that a Parking Charge Notice issued on private land is enforceable" .

The charge now stands at £110, anyone have any knowledge of current situation, the company are Highview Parking based in Barnett.

Any advice welcome.

Ignore it.
I haven't read the case but if it is the same as one threatened to a friend the person was due dozens of charges so it was worth pursuing.
Friend ignored it and hasn't heard anything for months by the way.

Bin it Pablo, under no circumstances enter into any dialogue with these thieving bastards, they will go away. My daughter has collected over 100 of these now since I told her to park at the supermarket in Aberdeen whilst she was at Uni. Loads of letters addressed to me as I am the registered keeper but she finished Uni in June and the letters are diminishing now. I don't even open them now, straight to shredder
