Parking near Shaftsbury Avenue/Wardour Street

Hi - Just wondering if anyone has parked around here and if it is safe/secure enough. I know there is a bay near the top of Wardour and the lampost has somewhere to hook your chain, any better recommendations? I know there is Q Park in Chinatown, but I hear there are always scrotes on the electric bikes scoping the place!

Just going for the day, so will be from 9 to 5 on a weekday next month.

If it had been Shaftesbury I could have given a few tips, but assume you mean that there London place.

In my limited experience it’s a PITA and you are not welcome, give up and go on the train.

Yeah, London. I used to have a honda rebel and would park on wardour and would not worry about it as not a desirable bike. GS is a different story.

Maybe I will just train it :-(

Loads of times down the Piccadilly end and also in the bike bay between Wardour and Berwick St.

Just take a lock and you’ll be fine. Hundreds and more do it every day.
