Passed my CBT :)

Hi Tony
That would be great if you could pass the vouchers on:):thumb
Havent booked yet- was going to next week prob- was also going to ask around at some other bike training places too, see what their courses and prices were like, as i had a PM off someone here who told me about their bike training place and it seemed like a good deal- more training and cheaper:D

As for Randy and the rainbows- ask your nan?
Are you insinuating i am getting on a bit :eek:lol- i'm only 40:D
Besides i only discovered their track on a search through limewire:D

Have sent you a PM so you can forward the email
Have decided to book elsewhere after 'shopping ' around for the best deal regarding training and price but my work mate is booking with camrider so i will pass the email on to her, she might be able to make use of it

Remember that price is not always the best reason to get training.

Do you want GOOD training or do you want CHEAP training?

Hi Schianni

I wasnt looking necessarily for 'cheap' training more like *more* training for the money, and have decided on somewhere that seemed a pretty good deal- a bit cheaper but having more hours training on the bike:)

The first place for similar money was 4hr riding sessions , but the one i have booked with gives you 6-7 hrs training a day, to which i feel is the better option?

they are all very similar in price, but the hours spent in training differ quite a bit so more hours for your money seems a better option to me:)

and the pass rate with who i have gone with is 87% which seems good to me too

Actually the training place i am going with is a member of this forum:D
And from what ive been told it seems a good place to do the Direct accesss

Anyway i have now booked up for the course on 30/31st oct and 1st and 2nd Nov the last day being test day:eek:
which will be 2 days before my 41st birthday:):augie

but if i dont pass 1st time i will keep going until i do- i dont give up easily!
i will not be defeated:D

Need to get out on my 125 now to get some practice in!:)
(my nerves are going already lol at the thought of getting a date booked:mmmm)

Denise welcome to the world of bein a biker..........we all started on a 125cc and i have to admit, i sometimes use my son's 125 to nip to the shops and i have to say it really good fun on it...... love it cos its a park anywhere bike..not the same with me 1200.........bloody great lump that can be to park..
Nice to see another girlie onboard..............janie xxxxx

You've done your homework. Pass rates are all-important. Also, the more hours you spend on the bike, the more comfortable and confident you will feel. The examiner will be looking for this.

Can I also make a suggestion? Try to use your 125 every day between now and test, and try to do at least five 'u' turns every time you use it. More people fail their test on the 'u' turn than anything else.

You really sound like you are taking a sensible approach to this - and from what you've said on here I think you'll make a good biker. :thumb

You will keep us posted won't you?

Hi Janie ,thanks for the welcome:),no doubt i shall enjoy practising on my 125:D
Hi Tony, 6-7 hrs- sounds good eh?:D
Wheelies!! well...you never know if i dont control the throttle properly:D
Hi Schiannini, thanks-i do like to check out all aspects:)
And from tomorrow i will try and get loads of practise in:D
5 u-turns daily?!!.....oh no! :D
I will try:D

And yes i will keep you all posted on my progress:)
good or bad:)
Looking forward to my first proper ride out on my own tomorrow:)
B/f said to me tonight -just be carefull and be extra careful of side turnings and cars not seeing you-good point:)
I think the life saver checks are firmly implanted in my brain too:)
