passenger seat hight

I am at presnt riding a r100gspd and am thinking of changing to a 1150gs .
I took one out for a test ride from my local dealer the other week and liked it alot BUT unfortunatly my wife as pillion found it very uncomfortable the pegs were too high (an easey problem to fix ) but she really did not like sitting so high upin comparison to me , Having suffered from "Ducks disease " allmy life I had the seat on the lowest position.

Is it possable to lower the rear seat ? any suggestions other than replace the passenger I would be gratefull.

and if you get the adventure ali luggage it comes with pillion footrest lowering bit.
