Passo di Fraele

As far as I can read, the pass used to go up to the top, past what seem to be ‘observation rowers’ and down the other side. For dome reason or other, it’s now blocked off at the top.

is there a tea hut at the top ?

This is quite a good website for some sometimes obscure roads and passes:

Also, this describes what are two passes:

This site translates very well from Italian into English:

Not a million miles away:

Its paved (kind of) up to the two medievil towers at the top (IIRC - was there in 2017) and then a roughly 4 mile loop on gravel around the lakes, a few places to get food and drink up the top, not a challenge really, anything will get you up and around, large ADV's no problem at all, I was on an 1190S and mates on V-Strom / Tiger Exploder 1200.

One of those you must come back down the way you came places which is worth the detour if you have time, but it is tight narrow hairpins all the way which is very few peoples favourite kind of road.
