Password protection in Pocket PC?

Hi,

Anyone know how to password protect files in Pocket PC? I can't transfer a password protected Word or Excel file from PC to Pocket PC.

but I don't think it is possible to password protect Pocket PC documents. :nenau
 
Downloaded mycodes-lite which claims to be an encrypted way to save passwords, pins etc, as long as you can remember one passss......oops....
 
I don't think you can protect them in Pocket PC but I would strongly suggest you set your storage card up with encrypted directories. PDA's / cellphones are too easily lost/stolen and in its normal form any data on the storage card is readable by any PC.

I would suggest that you look at a pproduct called Safeguard PDA from www.utimaco.co.uk . We have used this on a number of our implementations (I work for a company that does systems for mobile computing). If you are just trying to send a document for viewing only then creating a pdf formatted for pocket PC is probably the best.
