Pay 'n play day, Bordon, Hants 3rd March '13 (and maybe 2nd)

The top chaps at BLORC are organising another pay 'n play day, this time at Slab common, Bordon. It's Sunday for the bikes at the moment but we may get the Saturday as well if the 4x4 chaps don't sign up. Great venue, testing terrain and it'll be well organised, go on, you know you want to;

GATES OPEN AT 09:00hrs until 16:00hrs each day
Entrance fee is £40
Depending on numbers Saturday will be for 4×4′s if by Saturday 23rd Feb there is not enough 4×4′s I will give both days to the bikes.
Need a minimum of 20 4×4′s to make it

Is it bigger bike friendly with Tourances?

The Other Paul G and I had a great bimble round at Bagshot but there's plenty of gravel / shale tracks to play on. Is slab common mainly mud?

I wouldn't GS it personally but ask John at BLORC

From memory I wouldn't contemplate a GS there, i had enough trouble keeping my PE175 from burying itself, (that'll tell you how long ago it was too), plenty of sandy areas and heathland/woodland as i recall. Feel free to correct me / chip in if you've more up to date info
I'm recovering from surgery so can't play myself but would've otherwise.
Need to be fit for Spanish trail riding in April, Harz mountains in May then the Kielder rally in June
Its going to be a cracking year

I live just behind Slab Common and I can confirm it is more or less 100% sand. Lots of old army tanks and breakdown type vehicles dumped here and there as well.
