depends how much you want to spend and how much you dislike windows :nenau

just switched to macbook pro because i liked them however some work software needs windows so i have a dual boot with mac one side and windows 7 on the other which runs all i need:clap
the mac takes some getting used to but for pics videos and boys stuff 100% better than windows
best of both worlds:bow

MBPro...no brainer for me

I jumped in 2008 (early Intel processor MBP so still able to be updated to current OS Mountain. Still using the same machine (had a couple of new batteries, but that's to be expected on any lappy). So cost of ownership is steep 1st outlay, but cheaper overall as lifespan in my hands is longer.

Only other things I have done is put more memory in (Crucial et al, is cheaper than Apple) & swapped HDD for more space as I am too lazy to sort it out & dump stuff onto an archive on my NAS:blast

Started using VM Fusion to run Windoze whilst in MacOS cos I thought I'd need it. TBH I have rarely needed it.
