Presumably it played them before????

Does it play CD's still, but not DVD's, or does it do nothing???

does it power up (spin) and the light flash, or is it dead dead???

Do you have an attractive single mid 30's sister??

Pc is windows XP pro .
it plays CDs and loaded old mapsource city select cd .
I've never played a Dvd on this pc before when i put city nav Dvd its totally dead

I'm trying to load City navigator V8 Dvd for my new 2610 ...

Does your machine actually have the ability to read DVD's; they are a completely different type of storage device to the previously used CD.

If it is DVD playable it will say so usually on the ickle drawer that pops out of the machine, if only says CD CD-ROM or CDR/W then you are ferked. You're looking for something like has the letters DVD (too many variants to list) on it.
