Peaklife gps Help Needed ?????

could anyone tell what my problem may be I have a peaklife gps system fitted on my ktm exc 400 I fully charge it up from my pc which is fine the problem starts after about 6 hours on the bike following the route it just switches off with very low battery icon coming on ??? for some reason its not holding its charge when I connect it up to my bike I have it connected direct from my battery on the bike so I assume once I have charged it up on my pc and then put it on the bike the unit should hold its charge any ideas anyone.

Do you have access to a multimeter? If so might be worth checking voltage is getting to the contacts on the mount.
