A friend of mine just fitted Pivot Pegs to his 1150 Adv, and because of the width of the pegs he's struggling to change gear with MX boots on. Is the lever adjustable for length in anyway, or is there an after market lever he can fit?

Has anyone else had similar problems?

I had pivot pegz installed but was riding with regular boots for a while. Finally tried a pair of MX boots. Went for a short trial ride and was in first most of the time.

Adjusted the gear lever to its shortest length (Highest setting) but it wasn't enough. Cut off around 5mm from the adjusting bolt such that the gear lever connecting shaft would be at its shortest.

I am afraid its still too low for my MX boots and am looking for another solution as well.

Yes. Precisely the same problem...to the point that I couldn't ride with MX boots on (my normal choice of boot for every ride other than a long tour)

I got a Touratwat gear lever extender.

PHOTO NOT MY BIKE SO PIVOT PEGS NOT FITTED IN IT.

I don't like buying stuff from them (apart from that it keeps Slimbo in a job) because most of their stuff is overpriced and I object to the pricing scam in England as well, but I have to say this is one bit of kit I'd never give up and don't regret buying for one second!

it's a bit agricultural looking, but that suits the bike TBH, but what a total transformation!

Totally recommended:thumb2

If any help i had to bend mine recently for my x challenge as these are flexible shouldnt be too bad for my size 47 mx boots

Do they still do these? I can't find on Touratwat website? Wunderlich have a £99 adjustable version, looks less Meccano like than the TT one?
