Performance Upgrades - views?

Hi all,

have just taken the plunge and ordered a full Arrow system, K&N filter and PC V.

Has anyone else gone this route yet, if so, would be interested in views?

25bhp in the midrange in the lower gears, where you need it.

Hi,

The bike is restricted in low and mid rpm in the lower gears. The reflash releases a lot of real-world torque and power at these low and mid rpm. Can be 20+bhp at 5000 revs, but only 3 or 4 at the top end.

I want most of my power to be right where Yamaha have removed it, so the reflash is going to be first thing on the list of mods when I get mine in a couple of weeks.

The ecu is the best mod you will make to the S10 Totaly transforms the bike, Its the way yamaha should have made it, In sport mode its a little bit of a hooligan

Two options at the moment - one is to send it to a place in Italy and the other is to send it to Off-The-Road in Germany. The latter is the pricier at £394 inc postage back and VAT, but seems to be the faster.

Mine goes off on Monday. Will report back...

Nice to see no one's bothered about warranties in this section Don't forget to notify your insurers about the performance upgrades - I will be interested to know if any of them charge you more and if so how much.

The ecu flash is approved by yamaha and does not affect your warranty. Thats why they take your vin number so they it has been done

Just added new mivv end can went for a wee run today almost run in , this bike just pulls from nothing in any gear and goes like stink,Im starting to really gell with bike now, Not missing my bm anymore!
