I used to live there..

Arhhh the old home.. Used to live in Ponterwyd as a kid.. went through it on the Oct weekend campout on Dennis's lovely road route.

It certainly is, often use it on runs over that area. It has a well stocked shop too.:beerjug:

Including Finnlec tyre sealant......

Mutter, mutter, Melton's effing rideouts. (one puncture and 1 holed headlamp lens on differnet rideouts led by AM)

Almost on the same thread, got to Llandovery in the car with the father-in-law on Boxing day with the gauge showing 0.0l remaining thinking I could just pull up at the local Tesco or the like for fuel after the match (Llandovery v EVRFC) asked a local lad where I could get some petrol only to be told the local garage was up on the right...but it was closed. Crept back to Brecon at 35 - 40 mph in the dark and wet and eventually found the one garage that was open in that town
Managed to get 33.5l in a 35l tank then....thank goodness for Smart Roadster inaccurate gauges!!

Didn't realise how much I rely on being able to turn up and get fuel when I like!

There's an esso petrol station just as you leave Aberyswyth on the mini roundabout on the right, its pretty well stocked and is open 24/7.
If you fancy a nice spin follow the coast road to cardigan the views are wonderful.

Going south from Devil's Bridge the next nearest one is in Tregaron village. SW there's one on the coast road just north of Aberaeron town. Going SE then you have to go to Rhayader, Llanwrtyd Wells or Llandovery.
