Petrol Tank Gubbins???

Can anyone tell me if the cap and internals are the same on the 1150 and Adv (30lit) tanks?

They are the same apart from the fuel level sender it's a different ratio.

It's been like it about 2 yrs!

Using a GS float arm in the Adv. tank will cause the low fuel light to come on too early. Bending the float arm downwards slightly will delay the light coming on. Mine comes on with just under 5 litres remaining after this mod.
