Hi,
I need to stop a very small leak in an aluminium petrol tank. I intend to use an in-tank sealer.
Does any one have good/bad experience or recommendations to relate with this type of product.
Thanks.

For a pin hole leak, you can use liquid metal, I have done this and it works great.

if you are going to seal the tank inside, then I recomend POR 15, buy the complete kit, and follow the instructions exactly, I did my Kawasaki Z1b tank with this and it works great, not cheap, but the best.:thumb2

+1 for POR15

and I also did a preliminary cleaning with electrolysis which I believe made a much better job. Details on here somewhere

Rather off-topic, but if out and about on tour , a crack or small hole in a petrol tank can be sealed by rubbing a bar of natural (or the closest you can find to it) soap across it......the soap turns rock hard and seals it nicely :thumb2
