Philippines and the bad event in South East Asia

Hi Guys,

The Philippines is totaly free from the effects of the problems in Thailand etc.

I have had a mail from a friend in Phuket who tells me that basically in Phuket things have been ripped apart but not as bad as the media are telling. I am media free by the way so dont know much about it apart from a couple of glimpses of a telly and his email.

Just had a text from a mate on holiday in Phuket he was woken by an 8m wave which moved his hotel he say he was very lucky and that it is not pretty there
