Reliving bike trips whilst sat at my desk....
Bought one of these for my CB1 at the Ally Pally from the Bike-Safe stand.

H4 was £10.99 and H7 was £15.99.

Pretty bright. More so than my existing bulb, but perhaps no brighter than the Extra Bright Xenon ones you can get from Halfords etc.

Interesting point is that they have been developped to have an orange tinge so that they stand out from car lights, so giving you a better chance of being identified as a bike by Mr Car-man, instead of another 4-wheeler.

Orange definitely visible on mine, less so on my Dad's RT.
Does it make me safer or more visible?
Hard to say, and I'm not taking the chance, but at the same price and comparable brightness to the Xenon jobbies, I'd say they are worth a look....

I brought mine from Hein Gericke about a month ago and 2 days ago it went pop.
Ok might have been a duff one, but going back to Philips Blue Vision

Must say it was a big improvment over the standard bulbs you get in the 1200.
My brother got them a month earlier for his TDM and he loves them

HID kit can be bought for £40 ish. Stop wasting ya money on crap bulbs and put in HID. Will work out cheaper and trust me that car drivers will see ya.
