Phoenix Fine Vision Photochromatic Visor Insert

Just bought one of these from Demon Tweeks. Installed it as per the instructions and tested it but it does sod all. It is supposed to darken in reaction to sunlight but it don't. And unlike my trusty Pinlock insert its adhesive so I'm stuck with it. Have I been sold a clear one in the Photochromatic packet. If anyone else has one, what colour does it look when there is no sun. This one is pretty clear.

Not amused. Visor now stuck with a shitty insert. Very annoyed.

Demon tweeks suck,had loads of problems a few years ago over an alpine stars jacket ordered through them,they ordered the wrong size and then wanted to keep my deposit when it didn't fit despite me having the order slip with the correct size wanted on it,crap service!

Not the same as yours but I have a FogCity photocromatic insert in the mine, never goes really dark(nothing like an illegal smoked one), tends to turn blue in the sun and remains just a little tinted out of it. Suggest you cover half the inset/visor with foil or something and shine a bright light on the other side, that'll confirm if its an active one or not.

As my daughter would say -"sucks to be you" if you got a plain one stuck in your visor, I'd have a pop at Demon for a new visor if they sold you a dud
