I'm currently using an Ericsson T29 phone plugged into an Autocom Easy-7 and a couple of problems.

The phone is set up ok on auto answer but it does not ring through the headset, only the phone itself which I cannot hear as it is in the tankbag. Probably just a peculiarity of my phone - there are no options in the menu to change. I'm thinking of changing the phone anyway, so any advice on phones that will ring through the headset?

The performance of the mike is great, no matter what speed, but crap from the earpieces at anything over 60. Using an Arai Condor, which is better than my S4 but wind noise drowns out most of the conversation. I've moved the earpieces all over the place to get the best spot but no luck. It's not helped by me using earplugs mind but then I'll not do long journeys without.
What sort of reception do the rest of you get?

I've used a range of Nokia's and now a Sony Ericcson T610 and all ring through the headset.

Your speaker problem is by no means unigue, speaker placement is critical but wearing ear plugs makes it especially so, most like me have resorted to custom moulded ear canal monitors, ear plugs with speakers built-in. Got mine here though reaching such heady levels of satisfaction does come at a price, luckily you can get a discount by mentioning the club or the forums or me :thumb

My Ericsson i888 didn't ring through the headset, but whatever it is that I'm using now does.

Try eBay!

Sony Ericcson

Must be a Sony Ericcson thing. I rigged up my T610 and had the same problem, no ringing.

Sound was fine though, conversations at 80mph with my Autocom and an Arai Quantum. Cruising at 40 - 60mph the caller didnt know I was on a bike and could only tell when I opened her up.....
