Was the picture of your bike in the car park at Rydal water with Loughrigg fell behind?

I use to live in Southport and the Lakes (esp south lakes) used to be the place to be at the weekends, walking/climbing/biking etc. You are very lucky to be living in Kendal.

I am very jealous. I live to far south to enjoy the roads on any regular visits

And your bike looks good too!!

Yes the Lakes are a beautiful place for hillwalking etc. I do like to get into the hills.

Funnily enough my other 'fetish' is sea kayaking and the Lakes is a crap area for that. I need to travel to Scotland or Wales for those granite coastlines.
