Photos again

Every time I try to attach a photo it comes out as a complete mess (see below)

It's a jpeg 450 x 310. Looks fine on my PC. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong ?

Perhaps there's an 'ugly bike' filter, not allowing the likes of the VTX.

Perhaps try altering and saving the picture in another picture editor will see if that is the problem. Presumably the jpeg information is not being completely saved. Some photo editors can save jpegs as progressive scans for web site work. The downloading is enhanced for slower connections as the picture first shows in rough form then improves as the download completes. Dont know if this is what is happening but might be worth looking to see if that option is checked on your image editor.

I've attached a picture saved with progressive scan turned on to see if I can replicate your "problem" ...............Guess not. (sorry)

Yes I had the problem

I had the same problem when trying to post pics.

I think I emailed you about it a month ago.

I solved the problem by reducing the size of the picture

Hey Andy's looks lovely. What you meant was Malky's Barndoor affair. If not well you should have I after all have posted the bogugly.gif on occassion just to show how ugly a GS can be.

OK reduced the size, used a different photo editor.

And....... it's small but sort of there ...... though what that stuff behind it is I've no idea .

I've got a version of Paint Shop Pro and Photosuite but I still can't post any decent pictures.

Maybe I'll wait until until Photoshop 6 appears on a free CD with some PC mag

I was in Enfield today Bob. Southbury station. You're right it is less picturesque
