Pico?Pyrenees in June Must See.

If you want to get off the bike take the cable car up to fuente de and walk back down- stunning views although we did it in fog and snow! The Cares Gorge is pretty spectacular. But better than both is a day spent in the Ordessa Canyon in the Pyrenees. Accomodation and camping available in Torla. You can link the picos and Pyrenees up with a visit to the Bardenas Reales near Tudela. For roads it has to be the N260.
Have stayed in Hotel Rebeco at Fuente De,http://www.hotelrebeco.com/index.php the owners took us off roading in a 4X4 and dropped us off at Cain de Valdeon where the Cares gorge starts, or ends depending on your direction of travel.
We were picked up at the other end at Poncebos, gorge walk is approx 15k long and I loved it.

and the Ordesa canyon is well worth a look.
