Picos & Portugal

Looks great. Snow on the tops is nice. I was checking the weather reports from Potes and it sounds pretty chilly at the moment once you get into the hills. Are you camping?
I'm going in 2 weeks. Can't wait.:clap
Have a fantastic trip.

Been very lucky with the weather (until today). We stayed at the Hotel Infantado in Ojedo, next to Potes during the Picos portion.

Now riding trails in Portugal.

Never stayed there but it gets great reviews. I normally stay in Arenas de Cabrales a bit further north. Lovely cheese.
Hope the weather picks up for you 'specially if you're going mudslinging!
Please report back on prices in Portugal as I'd be really interested in going later in the year if it was cheap enough.:beerjug:

Thanks for the pics and enjoy every minute.

We've booked into there for two nights in July - hope its OK? :beerjug:
Used to be run by Basil Fawlty's brother but even the locals got pissed off with him :D Personally, I enjoyed winding him up but it's now under new management and it was fine last time I was there recently :thumb

A group of us are going out on the Sunday Plymouth boat to Santander ,staying at La Pisa for a week then going down into Portugal. Looks like I might need my Rukka suit !
But better in a Rukka in Spain than bonny Scotland at the moment...............
