Pics from Harley day at the Ace

Ah right :D Well I don't see any tassels on that bike but if people are afraid of owning/riding a bike based upon the perception of others then it doesn't take much thinking to figure out who the sad ones are/is. :comfort

My quote was probably misleading - I was looking at the "Road Crew" photo at the bottom of the set.

I actually like Harley's quite a lot and - apart from the minor problem of being a time rich/money poor pensioner - would love to have one as a second bike. Twenty years ago I even spent three weeks riding a rented Glide around California and Nevada. Wouldn't have done it any other way. A fantastic holiday.

Just struggle a bit with some of the stuff that people add/do to them... :blagblah

Yes it was misleading but get your drift now.

The very reason I was drawn to that particular bike was partly because it wasn't dressed up like a tarts handbag , no tassels and not obliterated in chrome add ons.
Moto Guzzi put me off chrome many years ago and it's not a finish I'd be in a hurry to revisit, whereas a Guzzi is ...something I'd revisit.

Because, of course, festooning your bike with pointless bits of aluminium and TouraTw@ stickers is sooooooo much more tasteful :toungincheek

I was just thinking that as I read along :D:D:D

However, Aluminium is always less gay than leather :blast
