pillion armrests?

could anyone make something like this? what with the boss always on the back of the bike i want to make sure my precious cargo (shes reading this over my shoulder!!) is comfortable. would it be difficult to make one unit to bolt on under my top box and have a back rest and simple arm rests like this? im sure it'll make her life easier on our trip across europe this year. any ideas, tips, offers?

Have you priced a pair at your dealers parts dept.....

Maybe you could adapt them to fit another Topbox somehow.....or you could simply change your Bike...

lol im way too young for a goldwing yet!..

i was thinking maybe fabricate a u section to go under my top box with an armrest on each side, my welder is out of action at the moment with no sign of it being returned in the near future... till then..

Why not bungee a couple of sleeping bags on top of each pannier ???

lol thats probably the next option. maybe even armest mounted to the pannier? now im cooking on gas..

as for the goldwing i did look at them for a while and would have had a gl1500 but couldnt find the right one for the right money..

Just get her to ride side-saddle leaning on the top box, and change round every hour.
