Is there such a beast available for the OEM Aluminium luggage on the 1150 GSA ? Or has anyone found an alternative solution? Mrs Robster is complaining that her back is giving her jip...

Motobins do a back rest for the H&B stuff I think it's off the Junior range top box this is a nice size for the OEN Alu top box, I have one fitted and the good lady finds it very comfy, if need be I can take a photo of it later

Last year I needed one and bought a pad for a Vespa (!) off fleabay for a few quid (with Cornish flag design!) and velcroed it on, never moved all summer.

Lovely bike.

I have a silver Desierto II on an aluminium silver GSA1150 also. Works, dosent it ?

Would appreciate any advice on the backrest also please.

Where did you get the Desierto II stickers in that colour if you don't mind me asking ?

The backrest was custom made by a friend of mine www.midfab.co.uk youl find his contact details there.[/QUOTE]

Click on the link above you will find all his contact details there.

The backrest you have support the mid-to-upper back region.

I have often thought that a backrest that could attach to the bit that sticks into the lumbar region of the pillion would be also good as it leaves a bit of a red mark in the pillion's lower back (especially if they lean back into it).

With this backrest this doesn't happen, so the wife tells me.
