New 04 GSA arrived today. Lovely.
I knew it had pannier frames so (stupidly) bought a pair of secondhand Zega Pro panniers in advance to mount on what I was told were Touratech frames.

You guessed it. The Panniers won't go on. They are fouling the pillion footrest brackets. If I took the footrest brackets off then they might go on, but surely this isn't the intention?

Any ideas anyone?

Late answer, but better late than never...
The same happened with me & my 1100GS. In my case TT sells a "pillion foot peg relocation kit" that they state is required for Zega case mounting. It does away with the "horns" witch the standard cases hook into. I'm not sure how things look on your bike though.

Cut off the sticky-out bits on the footpeg brackets. That's what I did, though only needed on the LHS.

In the unlikely event that I need to put it back to original, I'm sure Motorworks would sell me a second hand one for a few quid.

Yup. Planned on doing that, but the org foot peg brackets wouldn't mount well with the incredibly poorly designed Zega case holders... That fit was actually worse then the H&B engine guards!
