Yo dudes,

Here it is the Pipistrelle oil cooler guard. Guaranteed to stop insect damaging your oil cooler, but there are several conditions:

1) To be effective, you must not ride faster than the top speed of the bat.

2) Only works in the hours of darkness.

This miscreant was on the WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD.

Obviously kamikazied my GS prior to the BTBR light fitting.

Obviously? Otherwise both of us would have seen each other.

My bike is henceforth to be known as the Batmobile.

BTBR thanks for sorting out the image for me.

He/she looks a bit upset?
You are paying the poor beast enough to consume the dead insects off your oil cooler?

:eek

If it goes to bat heaven, will it get and extra set of white feathery wings?

:angel

I'll get me coat....

Probably didn't see the GS as it's black and as it's the fast colour, it couldn't take avoiding action.

He must have been on a wing and a prayer that night. Still at least he had the grace to keep the bike looking assymetrical by not hitting the oil cooler centrally.

Was riding out of Whaley Bridge at about 50mph around 10pm a couple of months ago when something hit the visor with a thump. To be honest I thought it was a feckin big moth or that some kids had thrown something at me. A couple of miles down the road I could hear a scratching sort of sound on the visor so stopped to have a look. Found a stunned bat stuck up under the peak of my Tour-X. Well I say stunned..it was dead stunned.
