Planning a route?

Hi recently bought a Tom Tom rider 2 europe. Is it possible to plot a route like a Garmin using maps, or do you use the itinerary with waypoints ?

An alternative to Tyre is ITN Converter. Save your route as an ITN file and then place this in the relevant folder of the internal memory of your TomTom. I think this folder is named 'itn'.

Thanks downloaded tyre been looking at it think I've got the idea.Just plot a route on the maps using waypoints.

Yes you can - load it onto a USB stick etc.
See TYRE - there is an option along the top (?).

As it uses the Google Mapping API I doubt it would work without a net connection. The USB option is to allow you to use the program away from your main PC, say in an internet cafe or at a friend's house.
