I would like to make other Rider's aware of this accident waiting to happen....if riding the A629 from Denholme towards Queensbury.
On leaving the A629 onto the A644 ,which can only be accessed in this direction, being that the first 100 yards of the A644 for the last 10 years has been one way,

Traffic can not enter the A629 here ,But twice this week when I left the A629 onto the A644 at 40 mph a car has been driving the wrong way up this one way road.....

Both Driver's said their Sat Nav's told them to go this way...I asked if they had seen the 7 Large ...easy visible road sign's saying Dead end, and No entry. and if they did miss them what about the Massive writing on the road saying "No through road" ....
There answer ...My sat nav told me to go this way. :spitfire

The sat nav that they both had looked like a Tom Tom, but I could not be sure.
So please beware when on this part of the road. Or if you are using the sat nav here .
Hope this is of help.

Know the junction well, will keep an eye open for the myopic car drivers!!!

I saw a car heading the wrong way up there last week - I just assumed they were going to the cottages near the junction.

Definitely one to watch out for...

I have seen a car coming up there the other day too

My mate and i both came to the same conclusion gps - load of crap in my mind, carn't people read a map or most importantly road signs.

the most annoying thing is that there are a lot of very LARGE sign's saying that it is a dead end, along with the words "NO THROUGH ROAD "written on the road In... dick head proof size.. :spitfire
How the FECK are these dick heads missing this lot :nenau ..

I think it is the TomTom sat nav that takes them this way,
My Quest does not .

What about the car that turned right at the end of the motorway slip road. Fortunately he recognised his mistake and pulled onto the hard shoulder!!!!
