I am looking to join a Ducati forum, specifically for info for my 620ie Monster.

The obvious one would seem to be ukmonster.co.uk but I have heard that ducati forum.co.uk is better. It certainly seems to be busier.

Does anyone have experience of either, please.

Cheers,

Paul g

Monster owners club are a touchy bunch of girls - you get kicked off for daring to say that the Monster isn't the best bike in the world - it is inhabited by the arty farty cappuccino brigade.

P.S. I used to have a 620i.e. many years ago - I loved it.

Yes, thank you for your link to Mumsnet..... :D

I bet that's awful, full of know-it-alls and delicate types who flounce off at the slightest provocation.

Oh, hang on.......

I'm sorry mate i coulodn't resist :beerjug:

I am suprised that there isn't a ducati section on here TBH

Ducatiforum for me too, been a member for a while, plenty of useful info and lots of bike porn to look at!

Another thanks for the mumsnet link. Spent an enjoyable half hour re reading the legendary "wank mitten" thread :)

Rubbish ;) I found the forum great, and the members very helpful - I had an S4 for a couple of years - great bike, but you never knew if it was going to start, and it ate batteries.

I needed an exhaust bracket, and one member made one for me, and brought it to my house - FOC!!! :thumb2

Thanks guys - I'll get along to ducatiform.co.uk and sign up.

I've also gained a whole new perspective on mumsnet, too, that's an unexpected bonus :D

I was a member of the UKmonster forum in its early days. It was a good site run by keen Monster owners with a good knowledge of all things Monster & Ducati. They had some good weekenders near Stratford upon Avon. Not logged on for ages, but like most forums it has probably changed as members come and go. UKGSER has changed a lot in the same time frame.
