Poor acceleration and increased vibration

Over the last couple of days I've noticed that acceleration doesn't seem to be so good on my 1100 GS although the top speed is unaffected in 5th. Along with this is an increase in vibration. I've done a rough and ready check that the brakes aren't binding (I stopped the bike and put the back of my bare hand on the disc and still have skin left) and the throttle bodies are seated correctly.

When was the bike last set up,? valve clearances and throttle body synch makes a big difference to how smoothly they run.

vibration is usually a sign that the valves need adjusting.

Thanks. Its been a while since the throttle bodies were synched so that could be it.

check your stick coils... thats what happened to mine.

Search for stick coils and all will be revealed about how to check them.

1 - throttle body synch
2 - valves
3 - compression
